House Sponsors: ZICKUS-BLACK Short description: PROFESSIONAL REG-REPORTS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Athletic Trainers Practice Act, the Funeral Directors and Embalmers Licensing Code, the Pharmacy Practice Act of 1987, the Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Practice Act of 1994, the Illinois Certified Shorthand Reporters Act of 1984, and the Illinois Public Accounting Act to omit provisions that require the Board to present an annual or quarterly report to the Director. Amends the Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987 to provide that the physician assistant advisory committee is required to meet and report to the Board as physician assistant issues arise (was quarterly and as physician assistant issues arise). Repeals the Section in the Department of Professional Regulation Law concerning an annual report to the General Assembly. Effective immediately.
