Short description: PUB AID-CHILDCARE TEST PROGRAM Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code by increasing from $7,500,000 to $15,000,000 the allocation required by the Department of Human Services to a test program for certain families who are eligible for child care assistance. With respect to the establishment of an income eligibility threshold of 50% of the State median income, (i) deletes the limitation to fiscal year 1998 and (ii) provides that the State median income must be calculated using data from the most recently completed fiscal year.
