Authorizes purchase of up to 8 years of service credit for time spent providing personal services on a full-time basis to a department under a personal services contract. Requires payment of employee and employer contributions plus interest. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) The fiscal impact of SB 841 has not been determined, but is estimated to be minor as the payment of employee and employer contributions, plus interest, by the member is expected to cover most of the cost to the System.
