Short description: TANF-CHILD SCHOOL ACTIVITIES Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the "Temporary Assistance for Needy Families" (TANF) Article of the Public Aid Code. Provides that if a family unit includes a child who is enrolled in kindergarten or any of grades 1 through 12, the family unit is not eligible to receive TANF unless the parent or other custodian signs a responsibility contract with the Department of Human Services, pursuant to which the parent or other custodian agrees to participate in the child's school activities. Effective immediately.
