Short description: 
$BUREAU OF THE BUDGET                                                      

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Makes appropriations to the Bureau of the Budget for  the  fiscal      
   year beginning July 1, 1999. Effective July 1, 1999.                        
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Reduces appropriations for ordinary and contingent expenses of         
   the Bureau of the Budget from GRF. Reduces appropriations from the          
   Build Illinois Bond Retirement and Interest Fund to the Bureau of the       
   Budget.                                                                     
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                
        Increases appropriations to the Bureau of the Budget from the          
   GRF for ordinary and contingent expenses and from the Build Illinois        
   Bond Retirement and Interest Fund.                                          
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Deletes July 1, 1999 effective date.                                   
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                 
        Increases the appropriations to the  Bureau  of  the  Budget  for      
   ordinary and contingent office expenses.                                    
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 3.                                                 
        Increases OCE line items in General Office division of the Bureau      
   of the Budget. Adds July 1, 1999 effective date.                            
        CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT NO. 1.                                     
        Deletes everything. Makes changes concerning the recipients of         
   certain appropriations made pursuant to various Public Acts that were       
   approved in State FY 2000. Reduces some of those appropriations and         
   makes additional appropriations. Effective immediately.
