Short description: 
CHILDREN'S HEALTH INS ACT-TECH                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Children's Health  Insurance  Program  Act.   Makes  a      
   technical change in provisions concerning legislative intent.               
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          215 ILCS 106/5                                                       
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          215 ILCS 106/30                                                      
          215 ILCS 106/55                                                      
          215 ILCS 106/60                                                      
        Deletes everything. Amends the Children's Health  Insurance  Act.      
   Changes  the threshold at which children covered under the program are      
   eligible for reduced co-payments from children in families below  150%      
   of  the federal poverty level to children in families at or below 150%      
   of the federal poverty level. Makes a change in  provisions  regarding      
   contracts  with  non-governmental  bodies  and emergency rulemaking so      
   that they apply to the Act rather  than  to  "this  Section"  in  each      
   Section respectively.  Effective immediately.                               
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Makes a technical change in provisions regarding cost sharing.
