TELECO LOCAL LOOP FACILITIES                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Public  Utilities  Act.   Requires  incumbent  local      
   exchange carriers with more than 35,000  subscriber  access  lines  to      
   divest  ownership  and  control  of  local loop facilities.  Effective      
   immediately.
