Short description: BARTENDER EDUCATION PROGRAMS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse and Dependency Act and the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that the Liquor Control Commission rather than the Department of Human Services shall license persons providing training and education to alcoholic beverage sellers and servers. Provides that the State Commission shall develop and administer a public awareness program to reduce or eliminate the illegal purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverage products by persons under 21 years of age. Effective immediately.
