Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 65/5/1-1-1 Adds reference to: 65 ILCS 5/7-1-1 from Ch. 24, par. 7-1-1 Deletes everything. Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that municipalities in a county with a population of 3,000,000 or more may annex territory that is not contiguous to the municipality and separated from the municipality only by a forest preserve district if certain conditions are met (now, most municipalities must meet those conditions in order to annex territory that is not contiguous to the municipality and separated from the municipality only by a forest preserve district).
