PEN CD-ST POLICE 80% MAXIMUM                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the State Employee Article of the Illinois  Pension  Code.      
   For  State  Police, increases the maximum retirement annuity to 80% of      
   final average compensation.  Also increases the employee  contribution      
   for State Police by 0.65% of salary.  Effective immediately.                
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
           Increase in accrued liabilities                  $ 7.3 million      
           Increase in cost (0.023% of payroll)             $ 0.3 million
