House Sponsors: WOOLARD-MITCHELL,JERRY. Short description: SCH CD-MANDATE WAIVERS REPORT Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the School Code. Provides that if the General Assembly, for 2 successive reports on the waiver of School Code mandates, disapproves all of the waiver requests and appealed requests of a particular type, then, from that time on, the State Board of Education shall disapprove any waiver requests of that particular type, which may not be appealed to the General Assembly, and shall not include those requests in the report. Provides that if the General Assembly, for 2 successive reports, fails to disapprove all of the waiver requests and appealed requests of a particular type, then, from that time on, the State Board of Education shall not disapprove any waiver requests of that particular type and shall not include those requests in the report. Effective immediately.
