Provides that aggravated assault by the use of a firearm, other than by discharge of the firearm, is a Class 4 felony (rather than a Class A misdemeanor). FISCAL NOTE (Department of Corrections) There would be an increase of 33 inmates at a cost of $7,094,800 over the first 10 years.
