House Sponsors: CROTTY. Short description: SCH CONSTRUCT-GRANT ENTITLEMNT Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the School Construction Law. Prohibits the amount of a school construction project grant from being less than the amount of the initial grant entitlement, and provides that this provision applies to all grant entitlements for school construction projects issued by the State Board of Education, including those issued before the effective date of this amendatory Act. Provides that the grant index used to calculate the amount of a school construction project grant may not be less than the grant index used in the initial determination of grant eligibility in the issuance of a grant entitlement. Effective immediately.
