AMEND IL VEH CODE-FIREFIGHTER                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code.  Provides that  moneys  in  the      
   Illinois  Fire Fighters' Memorial Fund shall, subject to appropriation      
   by the General Assembly and approval by the Secretary of State, be          
   used for maintaining the Illinois Fire Fighters' Memorial, for holding      
   an annual memorial commemoration, and for  providing  scholarships  to      
   children  of  fire  fighters  killed  in  the line of duty.  Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          FISCAL NOTE (Secretary of State)                                     
          HB 2870 will have no fiscal impact on the SOS office.
