Revises the definition of the term "admitted assets". Provides that the term includes certain receivables from affiliates and amounts authorized to be included in annual statements prepared in accordance with guidelines adopted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Effective January 1, 2001. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Removes provisions reducing the Director's authority to require additional financial information from companies.
