Short description: NIPC-REG GOALS-BONDS-TAX Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission shall receive 20% of the sales taxes collected in Lake, Cook, Will, DuPage, Kane, and McHenry counties. Amends the Northeastern Illinois Planning Act. Provides that the Commission's share of sales taxes must be used to meet the Commission's regional goals for transportation, land use, housing, waste water, storm water, and water supply. Authorizes the Commission to issue bonds for capital improvements to meet those goals.
