ENERGY EFFICIENCY MORTGAGES                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Renewable  Energy,  Energy  Efficiency,   and   Coal      
   Resources  Development  Law  of  1997.   Requires  the  Department  of      
   Commerce  and  Community  Affairs  to  compile information on mortgage      
   programs designed  to  promote  energy  efficiency  and  to  make  the      
   information  available  to  the  public.   Requires  the Department to      
   establish a toll free telephone number by which the public may request      
   the information.
