CRIM PRO-ORDER PROTECTION                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.  Provides  that  a      
   violation  of  an  order  of  protection,  whether  issued in a civil,      
   quasi-criminal proceeding must be (now may be) enforced by a  criminal      
   court if the respondent engages in specified proscribed conduct.            
          JUDICIAL NOTE (Administrative Office of Ill. Courts)                 
          There may be an increase in judicial workloads; impact on the        
          number of judges needed cannot be determined.
