CNTY CD-BOARDS OF HEALTH                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Counties Code.  Adds  a  ninth  member  to  boards  of      
   health composed of 8 members.  Effective immediately.                       
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Further amends the Counties Code. Provides that each board of          
   health that has 8 members may have one additional member appointed by       
   the president or chairman of the county. Provides that the additional       
   member must be appointed within 90 days after the effective date of         
   this amendatory Act and shall serve until July 1, 2002.
