CRIME VICTIM-COMPNSATION AWARD                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Crime Victims Compensation Award Act.   Increases  the      
   maximum allowable compensation award for a crime committed on or after      
   January 1, 2000 from $27,000 to $50,000.
