VEH CD-SCHL BUS PRMT-DUI RPRT                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to correct a  reference  to  the      
   alcohol concentration standard with regard to the type of report a law      
   enforcement  officer must submit to the Secretary of State if a person      
   with a school bus driver's permit refuses testing or submits to a test      
   that discloses an alcohol concentration of more than 0.00.   Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          FISCAL NOTE (Secretary of State)                                     
          There would be no fiscal impact to this Department.                  
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          625 ILCS 5/6-106.1b                                                  
        Deletes everything.  Reinserts the bill as passed by the House of      
   Representatives with the addition that a person who has  lost  his  or      
   her  school bus driver permit privileges due to having a blood alcohol      
   content of more than 0.00 (instead of 0.00 or more)  is  not  eligible      
   for restoration of the privileges for 3 years.  Effective immediately.
