Short description: 
PREVAILING WAGE-PUBLIC UTILITY                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Prevailing Wage Act.  Provides that  the  Act  applies      
   when  a public utility company contracts with an outside contractor on      
   specified construction projects.                                            
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Makes various changes in the types of projects and categories  of      
   workers to which the amendatory provisions apply.

          Estimated fiscal impact totals $254,675.
