Short description: 
DAGING-RE-MAP-TASK FORCE                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging.  Establishes a  task  force      
   within  the Department on Aging to study the feasibility of re-mapping      
   planning and service areas. Provides that the Director of Aging             
   shall appoint one representative from each area agency on aging             
   to serve as a member of the task force. Provides that the Director of       
   the Department may also appoint not more than 17 other members. Pro-        
   vides that the task force shall report its findings and make recommen-      
   dations to the General Assembly no later than January 1, 2001. Pro-         
   vides that the Section creating the task force is repealed on July 1,       
   2001. Effective immediately.                                                
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Requires the task force to report to the General Assembly by           
   April 1, 2001 (instead of January 1, 2001).                                 
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                 
        Requires the task force to report to the General Assembly by           
   January 1, 2002 (instead of April 1, 2001). Repeals the provisions          
   concerning the task force on July 1, 2002 (instead of July 1, 2001).
