Excludes from the limitation period in which a prosecution must be commenced, the period in which a proceeding or appeal from a proceeding relating to the quashing or enforcement of a Grand Jury subpoena issued in connection with an investigation of a violation of a criminal law of this State is pending. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Includes within the period of the statute of limitations, a period in which the State brings the proceeding or appeal from a proceeding relating to the quashing or enforcement of a Grand Jury subpoena issued in connection with a pending investigation of a violation of a criminal law of this State.
