Short description: PEN CD-DNST POL-PORTABILITY Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Downstate Police Article of the Illinois Pension Code in relation to the transfer of credits between pension funds. Deletes the additional (true cost) contribution. Removes the 2-year service requirement. Changes the manner of calculating the amount of contributions and interest to be transferred to the new pension fund. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement.
