Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 relating to the offense of aggravated battery of a child. Changes the age of the child from under 13 years of age to under 18 years of age. Provides that aggravated battery of a child in which the offender has care of the child is a Class X felony with a minimum sentence of 10 years for a first offense and a minimum sentence of 20 years for a second or subsequent offense.
