Provides that an insurance company or heath service corporation cannot deny payment for inpatient admissions on the grounds that it was not contacted before the patient was admitted, unless there was no attempt to contact the company or corporation. Provides that no contract between an insurance company or health service corporation with a health care provider can include an inducement to deny, reduce, limit, or delay specific medically necessary and appropriate treatment for a specific patient or group of patients with similar medical conditions.
