PEN CD-SLEP-RETURN TO SERVICE                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF)  Article  of      
   the Illinois Pension Code to remove the 2-year service requirement for      
   earning new benefits after a return to service. Applies only to             
   sheriffs' law enforcement employees. Amends the State Mandates Act to       
   require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.        
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          Fiscal impact cannot be determined, but is estimated to be           
          minor.
