Makes a technical change in the Section concerning policy and application of the Act. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 225 ILCS 65/5-15 Adds reference to: 225 ILCS 65/10-35 Deletes everything. Amends the Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act. Provides that the Department of Professional Regulation may, upon recommendation of the Board of Nursing, grant an Illinois license to applicants who have received advanced graduate degrees in nursing from an approved program with concurrent theory and clinical practice or to those applicants who are currently licensed in another state and have been actively practicing clincial nursing for a minimum of 2 years.
