PEN CD-IMRF-CORRECTIONS SLEP                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Article of        
   the Illinois Pension Code to make noncommissioned correctional              
   officers eligible for the sheriff's law enforcement formula. Amends         
   the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimburse-         
   ment. Effective immediately.                                                
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          Fiscal impact cannot be calculated due to unknown number of          
          noncommissioned county correctional officers. Additional             
          SLEP employees would increase IMRF employer costs.
