USE & OCC TAX-GUN VAULT-EXEMPT                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Use Tax Act, Service Use Tax Act,  Service  Occupation      
   Tax Act, and Retailers' Occupation Tax Act.  Beginning January 1, 2000      
   and  ending  December  31,  2004, exempts from taxation any reinforced      
   steel gun safe used to store firearms or ammunition. Effective January      
   1, 2000.
