PARKER-GEO-KARIS-BOWLES-FAWELL-SHADID, KLEMM, 
   JACOBS, BOMKE, PETERSON, LAUZEN, RADOGNO, DUDYCZ, 
   DONAHUE, SULLIVAN, DEL VALLE, LIGHTFORD AND TROTTER.

(MCGUIRE-DELGADO-BOLAND-SILVA-O'BRIEN)

        Urges Congress of the United States to preserve Social Security        
   as universal, mandatory, contributory social insurance system where         
   risk is pooled among all workers.                                           
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Urges the preservation of Social Security as a contributory so-        
   cial insurance system where risk is pooled among all workers and par-       
   ticipation is mandatory within a covered group (instead of as a uni-        
   versal, mandatory, contributory social insurance system where risk          
   is pooled among all workers).                                               
        SENATE AMENDMENT 2.                                                    
        Urges the Congress of the United States to provide full benefit        
   coverage for prescription medication under the federal Medicare pro-        
   gram.
