LUECHTEFELD. 40 ILCS 5/7-139.7 from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 7-139.7 40 ILCS 5/14-110 from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 14-110 Amends the Illinois Pension Code. Authorizes a State Policeman to transfer to the State Employees' Retirement System up to 12 years of creditable service accumulated under IMRF for service as a civilian employee of a municipal police department. Requires payment of the difference between the amounts transferred to the System and the amounts that would have been contributed, plus interest. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) The fiscal impact of SB 1877 cannot be determined because the amount of service credit that would be transferred is unknown.
