BOWLES. (SCHOENBERG-FEIGENHOLTZ-GASH-GARRETT) 720 ILCS 570/401.5 Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act relating to the offense of manufacturing an unlawful controlled substance by chemically deriving the controlled substance from one or more other controlled substances prohibited by the Act. Eliminates the exception to the statute for the manufacture of methamphetamine.
