OBAMA. 30 ILCS 705/5 from Ch. 127, par. 2305 Amends the Illinois Grant Funds Recovery Act. Extends the period during which grant funds must be spent or obligated, from 2 years to 4. Also provides that, at the request of the grantee under any grant agreement with the Capital Development Board that is in effect on the effective date of this amendatory Act, the Board shall amend the agreement to extend any 2-year spending, obligation, or completion deadline included in the agreement for an additional 2 years to reflect the change made by this amendatory Act.
