CRONIN-VIVERITO. 705 ILCS 405/5-905 Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Restores the law as it existed before the effective date of Public Act 91-479 relating to the release of the name and address of a minor to the victim of the minor's crime or to the victim's parent, legal custodian, or guardian, if the victim was a minor. Provides that law enforcement officers, upon written request, may release to the victim, or if the victim is a minor, to the victim's legal custodian, guardian, or parent, the name and address of the minor who committed the criminal offense against the victim if the law enforcement officer reasonably believes the release would not endanger the person or property of the arrested minor or his or her family.
