HALVORSON. 35 ILCS 200/15-172 30 ILCS 805/8.24 new Amends the Property Tax Code with respect to the Senior Citizens Assessment Freeze Homestead Exemption. Provides that, beginning in taxable year 2000, "income" does not include Supplemental Security Income, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, federal assistance to the blind, or veteran's benefits. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement.
