RAUSCHENBERGER. 305 ILCS 5/5-2 from Ch. 23, par. 5-2 Amends the "Medicaid" Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that in determining whether persons who qualify for TANF on the basis of need have insufficient income and resources to meet the cost of necessary medical care, the Department of Public Aid shall first allocate an amount of income equal to the federal poverty level for the family size to meet non-medical needs.
