TROTTER. 55 ILCS 5/5-23002 from Ch. 34, par. 5-23002 Amends the Counties Code. Provides that the county board may abolish its tuberculosis sanitarium board when requested to do so by the county health department and the tuberculosis sanitarium board. Provides that if the county board abolishes its tuberculosis sanitarium board, it may levy a tax equal to that formerly approved by referendum for the tuberculosis sanitarium board, rather than levying a tax based on the average of the last 5 years' levies for the tuberculosis sanitarium board.
