   815 ILCS 505/2JJ new                                                        

        Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act to      
   require taxicabs to post  their  rates  in  the  vehicle  and  on  the      
   exterior  of  the  vehicle. Prohibits a taxicab operator from charging      
   rates greater than those posted.  Provides a definition for "taxicab".      
   Preempts home rule.
