Allows the Attorney General to establish a statewide notification system and allows other officials to participate in that system. Creates an advisory committee to the Attorney General. Provides civil immunity to the Attorney General and his or her employees. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Makes technical changes to the bill to correct grammatical errors. Provides that the Illinois Department of Corrections, the Department of Human Services, and the Prisoner Review Board shall cooperate with the Attorney General in the implementation of the crime victim and witness notification system.
