BOMKE-NOLAND-MOLARO.

(FEIGENHOLTZ-KRAUSE-BRADLEY-MCKEON-MATHIAS)

   New Act                                                                     

        Creates the Dental Care Patient Protection Act.  Provides for the      
   regulation of dental managed care plans by the Department of Insurance      
   and the Department of Public  Health.   Establishes  requirements  for      
   disclosure  to  enrollees.  Establishes  credentialing and utilization      
   review   standards.    Requires   certain   plans   to    include    a      
   point-of-service option.                                                    
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Creates the Dental      
   Care Patient Protection Act. Provides for the regulation of dental          
   managed care plans by the Department of Insurance. Establishes re-          
   quirements for disclosure to enrollees. Establishes credentialing and       
   utilization review standards. Requires certain plans to include a           
   point-of-service option.
