RADOGNO-MAHAR.

(LYONS,EILEEN-MCKEON)

   210 ILCS 85/9.2 new                                                         

        Amends the  Hospital  Licensing  Act.  Establishes  the  Hospital      
   Inspection  Consolidation  and Improvement Task Force to determine the      
   feasibility  of  consolidating  the  hospital  inspection  efforts  of      
   various entities. Effective immediately.                                    
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          210 ILCS 85/9.2 new                                                  
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          20 ILCS 2310/55.75a new                                              
        Deletes everything. Amends the Civil Administrative Code of            
   Illinois. Provides that the Department of Public Health shall conduct       
   a review of hospital inspection programs. Provides that a report on         
   the review shall be issued to the Governor and the General Assembly         
   by July 1, 2000. Effective immediately.
