TROTTER. 55 ILCS 5/5-37011 from Ch. 34, par. 5-37011 Amends the County Hospitals Law (applicable to Cook County) in the Counties Code. Changes the name of the hospital security police force to hospital police force. Provides that all hospital police officers are authorized to carry weapons. Deletes the provisions that allow hospital police officers to carry weapons only while on-duty within or upon hospital facilities or premises.
