DEMUZIO.

   40 ILCS 5/16-163          from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 16-163                     

        Amends the Downstate Teacher Article of the Illinois Pension           
   Code. Removes the State Superintendent of Education from the Board  of      
   Trustees.   Provides  that  the  Board shall annually elect one of its      
   members to act as president.  Effective immediately.                        
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          There would be no fiscal impact on TRS.
