   430 ILCS 15/2             from Ch. 127 1/2, par. 154                        

        Amends the Gasoline Storage Act.  Provides that the Office of the      
   State Fire Marshal shall make a final determination on the issuance of      
   a  permit  for  the  installation,  repair,   replacement,   relining,      
   abandonment,  tightness  testing,  leak  detection,  or  removal  of a      
   storage tank system and  notify the permit applicant within 15 days of      
   receipt  of  the  request  for  a  permit.   Requires  the  Office  to      
   distribute a list of approved equipment.  Effective immediately.
