REITZ. 70 ILCS 605/5-31 from Ch. 42, par. 5-31 Amends the Illinois Drainage Code. Provides that, in the case of a tract of land that is divided in ownership, if the owners of the land do not agree upon the division of an assessment, the clerk (now the district collector) shall divide the assessment to correspond to the ratio of the assessed land area held by each owner to the total original assessed land area of the tract.
