STROGER. 220 ILCS 5/16-125 Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that if there is a power outage of 2 or more hours that affects 500 or more customers, the utility may be fined an amount equal to the number of customers affected multiplied by the number of hours of the outage, but not less than $25,000. Applies to electric utilities having 500,000 or more customers.
