BUGIELSKI-CAPPARELLI-LOPEZ-MCAULIFFE-BURKE, 
   LYONS,JOSEPH AND DAVIS,MONIQUE.

   40 ILCS 5/6-141.2 new                                                       
   30 ILCS 805/8.24 new                                                        

        Amends the Chicago Firefighter Article of  the  Illinois  Pension      
   Code.    Provides a minimum widow's annuity for the widow of a fireman      
   who dies on or after July 1, 1997 while  an  active  fireman  with  at      
   least  10  years of creditable service.  Amends the State Mandates Act      
   to  require   implementation   without   reimbursement.      Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          The fiscal impact of HB 3331 has not been determined, but is         
          estimated to be minor.
