REITZ-JONES,JOHN-FOWLER-BOST-WOOLARD, O'BRIEN AND HARTKE.

(BOMKE)

   720 ILCS 5/21-1.5                                                           

        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961.  Provides that it is a Class  4      
   felony  for  a  person  to  transport  anhydrous ammonia in a portable      
   container if the container is not a package authorized  for  anhydrous      
   ammonia  transportation as defined in rules adopted under the Illinois      
   Hazardous Materials Transportation Act.

        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                
        Provides that for the purposes of the new offense, an  authorized      
   package  includes  a  package previously authorized under the Illinois      
   Hazardous Materials Transportation Act.
